Feline Friend!

What home or homepage is complete for that matter without the presence of pets? Here... I decided to put up a page about our family pet cat, Meow. From the time I was a little girl, there has always been a cat (or more than one!) in my house! It is because I have a cat lover in my family (my sister). I believe every  cat has it's own personality! Cats love to play, hunt like tigers and act ferocious.  These are some of their most enjoyable times. Paper bags are a marvelously scary cave; dresser drawers are a hunting ground; a leaf is a lion waiting to pounce. Watching them maneuver around precious items on a table is terrifying--but rarely is anything harmed! Most common in their play, of course, is the infamous ball of yarn. And there is always the MOUSE. I have had several cats who absolutely refused to help me out and get rid of a mouse! They would gladly POINT OUT the mouse, but then do no more! One wonderful trait of cats is their tendency to be neat. They are almost always spotlessly clean and are most displeased if one  messes them up in any way!! We used have a lovely White Persian femalewho has a white bib and it is snowy white at all times. I must admit, however, that once in a while you will get a cat that is a total pig!!Friendliness is certainly another topic-- friendliness---to some certain people! Your kitty may be lovely to you and around you, but what he does with others may put you to shame! I've had cats who absolutely picked out some one person(S) they didn't care for and growl at them or hiss at them, when the rest of their lives, they were adorably behaved!!!!! I've known cats who chose to throw up on people they didn't care for! (not one of mine, thank goodness!) For the most part, however, cats are lovely creatures  with a mind of their own who will be friendly when THEY CHOOSE TO BE!! On a more serious note, I do recommend most heartily when choosing a kitten or cat, visit your local Animal Pound or SPCA. Adopt those homeless animal! Besides giving them a new home, you'll satisfy yourself too, for having such an adorable creature :-) With the one exception (TILLY), all of my family cats have either been strays or pound animals. They have been a joy to my family and have given us hours of companionship and fun. Of course, if you plan on breeding and competition, that is another situation. I also strongly recommend spaying and neutering. There are so many unwanted cats on the loose and in the wild that there is not need for any more!

Well, talking about superstitious for the Chinese... 'black cat'brings bad luck to the owner! huh? but noone in my family bother about those shittt! Lol! Right now, my sister have one adorable black cat, Meow.  We have had Meow since kitten, my cousin gave him to us as a Christmas present last year. Meow is the most perfect Christmas gift ever! When we got him, he wasn't any bigger than the palm of my hand! but now... just look at her! "Meow" is a very simply name (coz we don't wish to put on our thinking cap to think of any complicating name) and it is also represent a 'cat' automatically, so we thought we could just call him that! Meow is spoiled absolutely rotten!Meow loves to be petted, roughed up and anything else you can do to him, just don't pick him up. He isn't a lap cat at all much to my dismay. He also hates strangers, in fact she will bite you if you try to pet her, but she does need to check you out and taste you first. He loves to sleep with us and purr and give us kitty kisses when we don't want him to...*smile* Meow loves my second sister very much, she insists that Tressa pay attention to her by batting her on her head with her paw. LOL! or maybe he just realize that Tressa was his only master? Hmm... Meow is our mighty hunteras well, always bringing us offerings of mice, birds, cockroaches (yer~) or whatever else he can catch. He gets very offended when I set free the birds. Meow and Jasper dislike each other or should I say Meow doesn't like Jasper. Therefore, whenever Jasper comes near, Meow would climbon top of the chair upon which she sat with her perfectly-coiffed French Twist and tear it apart! Then to top off his actions, he would jump on Jasper's back--just to let him know who's the boss! Sometimes, they run around the house like mad beating each other up! LOL! Meow is very aloof, very cat like, he only wants attention when he wants it and you best leave him alone otherwise...
He definitely looks like a Halloween cat with his green eyes and being almost totally black. We have come to love him just as much as all the other pets of ours.
